"We’ve been traveling a lot across the U.S. over the past three years, and it’s kind of our thing to try pancakes and crepes everywhere we go. At this place, I ordered every single pancake and crepe from the menu — and oh my god, they were the best I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely perfect! The German pancake with strawberries and the Cinnabon pancakes were so insanely delicious it should be illegal! Also, the service was excellent — super fast and attentive. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Breakfast and Service! Elmer’s at 10001 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, Oregon was the perfect start to my morning. The service was friendly, fast, and welcoming, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel right at home. I ordered a black coffee and it was amazingly hot, bold, and full of flavor. The classic German pancake deserves its own spotlight. It was out of this world… light, delicious, and prepared perfectly. I also enjoyed a traditional breakfast of three eggs, crispy hash browns, and toast. Everything was cooked just right and served with a smile. If you are ever in this area and want to start your day off right, this is the place to do it. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!"

"We met with a group of friends here for breakfast on a weekday. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was very clean and our table was comfortable. Our server was awesome. She was personable, very efficient and fulfilled everyone's requests. The food arrived as ordered, hot, and quickly. The food what we expected. Really, I'd say 4.5 stars, because the oil they used to fry the potatoes tasted off to me. Probably just my own personal tastes, and I ate them anyway. They were very patient with us sitting for several hours and visiting and not once tried to encourage us to leave. The restroom was also clean. It has a locked door with a code, which they shared with us when we were seated."

She’s definitely a seasoned server. The food was the best we had while visiting for 4 days, and we ate out every meal. Everything was 10/10."
